A Playful User Experience
Buddy was developed as a conceptual mobile application exploring how design can foster connection between pet owners, caregivers, and dogs within a shared community. The project imagined a platform where users could find trusted caretakers, schedule drop-in visits, and connect their dogs with compatible playmates nearby. The objective was to design an intuitive and engaging digital experience that simplifies pet care while encouraging social interaction and neighborhood engagement.

Buddy was imagined as a fun, community-focused app that makes it easy for pet owners to find caretakers, schedule drop-in visits, or connect their dogs with new playmates. The goal of the UX design was to keep everything simple and intuitive—users can navigate the app without thinking twice, while still enjoying a playful, friendly experience that matches the energy of the dogs themselves.
Vibrant Brand & UI System
Inspired by the energy and joy dogs bring to everyday life, the concept centers around friendship, play, and community bonding. The visual theme embraces bright, lively colors and organic shapes to reflect movement and excitement, creating a dynamic and welcoming interface. Color-coded sections enhance usability, making navigation simple and accessible, while integrated service categories—such as pet sitting, caretaking, dog meetups, and group activities—demonstrate how the app could support a wide range of pet-related needs within one cohesive system.
